Trei ani și va fi pregătit primul regiment german de drone

Noul regiment de drone al Bundeswehr-ului ar putea deveni complet operațional până în 2029 – a declarat generalul-locotenent Christian Freuding, inspectorul șef al forțelor terestre germane. Unitatea ar atinge capacitatea operațională inițială deja în 2027, cu aproximativ 350 de militari, efectivul fiind majorat ulterior la 600. Înființarea regimentului a fost anunțată de ministrul german al Apărării, Boris Pistorius, pe 1 octombrie, la poligonul Bergen din Saxonia Inferioară. Unitatea independentă, subordonată Diviziei a 10-a Blindate, va reuni capacități de recunoaștere, lovire și interceptare a dronelor inamice. Dotarea sa va include, pe lângă drone aeriene, și sisteme terestre fără pilot.

Potrivit lui Freuding, regimentul va fi format din cinci sau șase companii specializate pe sarcini diferite. Pe lângă acțiunile împotriva țintelor din apropiere, sunt planificate capacități de lovire la mare distanță, de război electronic și de combatere a dronelor, urmând să fie creată și o companie separată de testare și experimentare. Raza loviturilor la distanță ar putea depăși 500 de kilometri, în funcție de tehnologia disponibilă. Potrivit unui comunicat al Bundeswehr-ului, în paralel cu înființarea regimentului independent, va continua integrarea sistemelor fără pilot și în unitățile convenționale. În perioada din jurul aniversării 2026–2027, dezvoltarea unor astfel de capacități va începe la trei unități terestre: infanterie, cercetași și forțele de blindate. Pistorius a subliniat că în dezvoltare vor fi folosite experiențele forțelor ucrainene care luptă împotriva invaziei ruse. În cadrul programului experimental de la Bergen, noile sisteme sunt testate cu participarea militarilor, în condiții apropiate de cele de pe front, iar pe baza rezultatelor vor fi ajustate tactica, structura organizatorică și cerințele față de industrie.
