RMDSZ to inaugurate park built with 1.6 billion forints of Hungarian money
I don't know on what grounds RMDSZ senator Lóránt Antal and RMDSZ county president Barna Botond Bíró can deliver their grandiose soul-stirring speeches at the opening of a "poetry park" financed with money from a neighboring country - gathered from every corner of the world - while they themselves sat comfortably in the government in Bucharest.
For RMDSZ, the election campaign is coming very cheap. Others sowed, they can reap.
That's how it goes.
I imagine some of that 1.6 billion good Hungarian forints also landed in their bank accounts, under the heading of "constitutional costs."
After all, by New Year's Eve the senator still has to buy Schönbrunn Palace!
Let's say a word about Fidesz too, though what's the point by now
One has to know how to vanish into thin air too.
You can read it for yourself: neither the county president nor the senator mentions Prime Minister Doctor Viktor and his esteemed government with a single word, nor do they thank the Former Lord-Lieutenant for his Gracious Financing.
We can only congratulate Fidesz on their gullibility too, after their world-famous treason!
Muhahaha!

Russian gas with an American label? The risks of the Vertical Corridor and Romania's opportunities
The Vertical Gas Corridor originally promised to reduce Central and Eastern Europe's dependence on Russian energy through deliveries coming from the south. But a pipeline does not serve the cause of independence simply because the gas flows through it from a new direction: what also matters is where it originates, who trades it, and under what conditions it reaches buyers. This is the problem…

The perfect AUR move: the Cotroceni squad is back on the pitch, Simion skips the match
Today, October 5, Romania is holding yet another round of government-formation talks: team manager Nicușor Dan has called up a squad that is almost unchanged from before, so there is little reason to expect a different style of play, more goals, or fewer yellow and red cards. Monday's round, however, undeniably has one interesting twist: George Simion, the top man of the gold-shirts, has pulled…

Rubio backs Guilfoyle: a green light for toppling governments in Europe?
U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio has publicly voiced his support for Kimberly Guilfoyle, the United States ambassador to Greece, after senior Democratic lawmakers called for an investigation into the diplomat's activities. According to a report by G4Media, the objections relate to the promotion of U.S. liquefied natural gas sales in Southeast Europe and to the ambassador's dealings with…

Albanian PM: Ukraine's EU membership is a lie
Albanian Prime Minister Edi Rama, in an interview with Die Welt, called the EU accession promises made to Ukraine a lie, because in his view, under the current conditions and following the usual procedure, the country will never be admitted. According to him, everyone knows this, and European officials even admit in private that the standard accession process is unsuitable for handling the…

Putin wants Kyiv evacuated so he can bomb it in peace
Russia has once again called on foreigners and diplomats in Kyiv to leave the Ukrainian capital, warning that the Russian army will continue its mass attacks. Saturday's statement from the foreign ministry even added that anyone who ignores the warning bears full responsibility for the consequences. What considerate killers: they warn in advance that they're going to shoot, and then it's the…
