Ukrainian drones knocked out one of Yandex's data centers

A drone strike hit the Yandex data center in Sasovo, Ryazan region, on October 8, and the facility was completely shut down due to the damage caused. According to a Reuters report, the company has not yet been able to determine whether the damaged equipment can be repaired, while the incident has also affected the operation of several services.

Yandex told Interfax that the situation is under control, that no one was injured, and that technicians are working to deal with the consequences and restore the affected services. According to the company, its main services are operational, although some functions may have temporarily become unavailable to users.
